Interval One


It's been 3 years. 3 years since Toy was sent to Proto's facility. We thought Proto was harmless. We thought Proto was our friend.

We thought wrong.

Proto claimed he wanted to study Toy to see his potential, which Toy trusted him, so we did as well. After awhile, though..we began to get suspicious.

Proto became aware of our suspicion, and destroyed his facility, covering his tracks completely. He fled to his secret base, in which we didn't discover until 2007.

Unfortunately, we were too late. Proto had used Toy's power to make an armor suit for himself, which we struggled to defeat. Before we could stop him, Proto escaped.

Until now, Proto had been hiding, coming up with a new plan. This time, we're determined to stop him once and for all. But... we still need to help Toy, if possible.

We'll try our best.

Interval Two

The bros searched the remains of the P.R.O.T.O. FACILITY.

"What exactly was the purpose of destroying this place?" asked BGCD

"Proto obviously was trying to hide something that we didn't know about." replied Sonic204

"But what, exactly? What else was he planning to use Toy for?" asked BGCD

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. (You ever notice how in the beginning of these stories, the ground always shakes?..)

"What's going on?" asked BGCD as the ground shook fiercely.

A robot emerged from the ground, and charged at the bros.

"Whoa!" yelled Sonic204, and jumped out of the way

"What was THAT?" asked BGCD

"It looks like one of Proto's robots. Looks familiar, too." said Sonic204

"You're right, it does.." said BGCD

The robot just stared at them.

"You'll never be able to stop him.." said the robot

"Yeah, right. We have before, we can do it again!" said Sonic204

"Haha, fools..once Proto's plan goes into effect, nobody can stop him! Not even you guys!" said the robot

"What plan? Where is Toy?" asked BGCD

"TOY? No idea what that is. But his plan...why would I tell you?" said the robot

"Because if you don't, you're going to regret it." said BGCD

"HAH! You couldn't hurt me even if you TRIED." laughed the robot

"Oh yeah?" asked BGCD, jumping up, and unleashing a large lightning sphere.

"AAAARRGGHH!!" yelled the robot, as it went flying onto the ground.

"Now will you tell us?" asked Sonic204

"Argh..fine..but I don't know much. All I know is that he was planning to launch thousands of androids at his base, where he assumed you'd show up, to defeat you." said the robot

"Huh? That's all? What a relief. But you have to know more than that." said BGCD

"Yeah..but if you want to know, you'll have to ask me later. We'll meet again, BGCD Brothers!" shouted the robot, and warped out of sight.

"Wow. Should we take this seriously?" asked Sonic204

"I think so. Even if nobody else is in danger, Toy is. We've got to help him, or at least try to." said BGCD

"We don't even know where to start looking." said Sonic204

"Don't worry, I have an idea. I think I know where Proto is hiding." said BGCD

"Really? Where?" asked Sonic204

"His old base." replied BGCD

"Never thought of that.." said Sonic204

"We should at least check it out." said BGCD

"Yeah, let's go." said Sonic204

The bros were headed towards Proto's old base, hoping to find him there.

Interval Three

Upon arriving at Proto's old base, the bros walk inside.

"This place seems pretty abandoned. I doubt he's here.." commented Sonic204

"You're right. He's not." said a voice

"Huh? Who's there?" asked BGCD

Just then, a cloaked figure dropped down from the ceiling.

"Who are you?" asked Sonic204

"I am Proto's apprentice, or his partner." replied the voice (Now will be referred to as "Proto's Apprentice")

"Apprentice..? Proto has a helper?" asked BGCD

"From the beginning." replied Proto's Apprentice.

"But still, who are you?" asked BGCD

"You'll know... in time." replied Proto's Apprentice 

"But--hey, where do you think you're going?!" shouted BGCD, as Proto's Apprentice began to flee.

"Sorry guys, I have work to do." replied Proto's Apprentice, and jumped out the already broken window.

"..Who do you think that was?" asked Sonic204

"I dunno. C'mon. We have to follow him." said BGCD, and ran towards the window.

"It may be easier to just use the door, man." said Sonic204

"Err..yeah. Probably.." said BGCD, turning around, and started walking towards the door.

The bros exited the base but the cloaked Apprentice was nowhere to be seen.

"How could he have gotten away that fast?" asked BGCD

"I have no idea.." said Sonic204

Interval Four


"Well..we might as well check out the base while we're here." said BGCD

"Hey, what's that?" asked Sonic204, and pointed to what looked like a damaged door on the side of the base building.

"Looks like a door.." commented BGCD

"It's all cracked and stuff. Doesn't look like it's going to open." said Sonic204, examining the door

BGCD walked over to the door, and punched it open.

"Well, that's one way to do it.." said Sonic204 

"Let's check it out." said BGCD, and went inside the now open door.

The bros descended deeper into the base, and came to a robot factory.

"I had no idea this was even here." said BGCD

"Me neither.." said Sonic204

"Hello there!" said a voice

"Huh? Who's that?" asked BGCD

"Oh, pardon me! Didn't mean to startle you." said the voice

"Not a problem, we just didn't expect to see anybody else down here." said BGCD

"To be honest, neither did I! My name is Professor Charles." said the voice

"Hey, nice to meet you. My name is BGCD, and this is my bro, Sonic204." said BGCD

"Hey." said Sonic204

"Do you mind if we have a look around?" asked BGCD

"No, not at all. Go ahead." said Professor Charles

The bros looked around the base, and noticed some files lying around about Toy.

"Toy...? What's this doing here?" asked BGCD, and picked up the paper.

"Toy? You know about him?" asked Professor Charles

"Yeah..we don't know much about him, but..we've met him." replied BGCD

"Interesting..well, I was apart of the team that designed Toy. So was a man named Proto.." said Professor Charles

"What more can you tell us?" asked Sonic204

"Well, I don't remember much about the development. But recently the old prototype of Toy, which, I called Toy-0, attached itself to one of my finest robots, and escaped the facility, blocking the entrance to the facility in the process.
 Proto also hasn't been seen for awhile..I think it has something to do with Toy-0 escaping." replied Professor Charles

"Interesting." said BGCD

"Where is Proto now?" asked Sonic204

"I don't know, unfortunately..but I do know where you could probably start looking." said Professor Charles

"Do tell, please." said BGCD

"Well...there's an old factory, a couple miles from here. Proto used to visit the place for research. Eventually, he made it into sort of a..laboratory. He might actually be there." said Professor Charles

"Hmm..thanks. We'll check it out." said BGCD

The bros exited the base and headed towards the factory Prof. Charles had told them about.

Interval Five

The bros arrived at the factory, hoping that Proto is actually inside.

"Hmm..think he's in there?" asked BGCD

"I dunno. But we should check it out." said Sonic204

"Yeah." said BGCD, and kicked the door in.

The bros entered the building, and began searching.

[Meanwhile]

"Sir, the BGCD Bros just entered our secret hideout." said the guard

"Very well.." said Proto

"Orders, sir?" asked the guard

"I'll send them a little...welcome present." snickered Proto, and pressed a button on his computer.

[Back to the Bros]

The ground began shaking, and then suddenly stopped.

"..What was that?" asked BGCD

"No idea.." replied Sonic204

Suddenly, a large robot appeared infront of the bros.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!111" yelled BGCD and jumped out of the way

"It's that robot again..." said Sonic204

"I told you I'd be back.." laughed the robot

"Great, we have to deal with this guy again." groaned BGCD

"Proto sent me to destroy you." said the robot

"Proto is here?" asked Sonic204

"Yeah....wait, I don't think I should have said that.." replied the robot

"Thanks for the info." said BGCD, and FALCON PAWNCHED the robot out of the way.

"Let's check the place out. If Proto IS here, then we'll find him upstairs, probably." said BGCD

"Yeah, let's go." said Sonic204

The bros headed upstairs.

[Meanwhile]

"Uhh..sir, the robot didn't do a thing. They're headed this way, sir." said the guard

"Eh..." groaned Proto

"What do we do?" asked the guard

"Hold positions..not much we can do now." replied Proto

Suddenly, the door busted open.

"Freeze!" shouted BGCD

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!1111" shouted the guard, and fainted.

"So, you did find me.." said Proto

"We sure did." said BGCD

"Well, now what are you going to do?" asked Proto

"Uh..." muttered BGCD

"I don't think we planned that far." replied Sonic204

"Oh, well, okay. We might as well battle." said Proto

Suddenly, the cloaked Apprentice swung into the window, and landed infront of Proto.

"You fool...YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET RID OF THEM!" yelled Proto's Apprentice

"Give me more time!" pleaded Proto

"Hey, what's going on here? Isn't that guy YOUR apprentice?" asked BGCD

"Yeah, I'm confused." said Sonic204

"How could you be so naive?" asked Proto's Apprentice, and smacked Proto into the wall, knocking him out.

Proto's Apprentice removed his hood, revealing who he is.

"I am Toy-0, Toy's prototype." said Proto's Apprentice (Now will be referred to as Toy-0)

"What...the..!" shouted BGCD

"This is way too confusing." said Sonic204

"Proto was MY apprentice. I was using him to defeat you, but obviously, that didn't work. I no longer need him." said Toy-0

"What are you going to do?" asked BGCD

"I'm going to make my escape, that's what! If you want to defeat me, come to my castle. We'll battle there. Until then, farewell!" shouted Toy-0, and disappeared.

"...Wow." said BGCD

"I'm not sure what to think.." said Sonic204

"Me neither.." said BGCD

"Ooof.." groaned Proto

"Hey, are you alright?" asked BGCD

"Yeah..I think so..sorry about all of this. Toy-0 brainwashed me, I think...but I'm fine now. Thanks for helping me." said Proto

"No problem. But we better go. We have to stop him." said BGCD

"Good luck!" said Proto

The bros left the factory and headed towards Toy-0's Castle.

Interval Six

Headed towards Toy-0's castle for a final battle, the bros were anxious.

"Hmm..you know, I've been thinking." said Sonic204

"About what?" asked BGCD

"well, Professor Charles told us to come here, am I right?" asked Sonic204

"Yeah." replied BGCD

"You ever think that maybe..he set us up? I mean, how would he just guess that Proto would be in that factory?" asked Sonic204

"I dunno, possibly. Seems like a nice guy, though. I don't think he'd do that." said BGCD

"I dunno." said Sonic204

The bros arrived at the castle.

"Hey..I kind of forgot about it, but..I wonder if Toy is here?" asked BGCD

"I hope so because I don't know of any other place he would be." said Sonic204

The castle door creaked open by itself. The bros stepped inside.

"Welcome...." said Toy-0

"Where's Toy?" asked an angered BGCD

"Oh, he's here. You'll get him..if you can defeat me." said Toy-0

"Oh, don't worry, we will." said Sonic204 and smacked him in the head, knocking him out.

"k now what, bro?" asked BGCD

"Search the upstairs, I'll look around down here." replied Sonic204

BGCD ran upstairs and began looking for Toy.

"Toy? You here?" asked Sonic204 and opened the cupboard

"Wait, you wouldn't be in there, why did I even look in there!?" shouted Sonic204 and walked upstairs.

"Any luck?" asked BGCD

"No...unfortunately." replied Sonic204

"Hey, wait, what's this?" said Sonic204, and pushed a button. You never push random buttons. But he did. He shouldn't have. But he did.

Suddenly the wall began to move, revealing a hidden room.

"Good work bro, I bet Toy is in here." said BGCD

"No, actually, this is just his laundry room." said Sonic204

"Crap..try pressing it again." suggested BGCD

Sonic204 pressed it again.

The walls began to shift again, revealing a different room.

"What is this one?" asked BGCD

"Looks like a laboratory, actually..let's check it out." said Sonic204

They went inside the room.

[Meanwhile]

"Ugh...what happened..huh? Where'd they go? Oh crap, I bet they're looking for Toy. I MUST STOP THEM! IF THEY FIND HIM, MY PLANS ARE RUI..well, eh, not really." said Toy-0

Toy-0 ran upstairs and into the hidden room.

"Hey...I think that's Toy" said Sonic204 and pointed to a jar on the desk.

"He's in a jar. Why would he be in a jar?" asked BGCD

"Because I had nothing else to keep him in." said Toy-0

"Oh. ..... What are you doing here?" asked BGCD

"Well, after you sneaked into my room, I decided to confront you." said Toy-0

Sonic204 smacked him in the head again.

"Let's get Toy" said Sonic204, and ran over and grabbed the jar.

"Hey Toy, long time no see." said BGCD

Toy was silent.

"..You're not mad at us, are you Toy?" asked Sonic204

Toy shook his head.

"Okay, good." said BGCD

"NOT SO FAST, I'VE HAD ENOUGH. THIS CHARADE ENDS NOW!" shouted Toy-0

"Do you mind? We're having a moment here." said Sonic204

"SHUT UP! YOU PUT THAT JAR BACK WHERE IT BELONGS!" screamed Toy-0

Sonic204 took Toy out of the jar and threw it at Toy-0 and hit him in the head.

"Good work, bro." said BGCD

"Yep. Let's get out of here." said Sonic204

The bros exited the castle, and began walking away.

Suddenly..the ground began shaking.

"This ground-shaking thing is getting a bit cliché, I think.." said BGCD

Suddenly, the trio blacked out.
